It’s not uncommon for children to become so engaged and enthusiastic during their tour—exploring their potential new school—that leaving can be unexpectedly emotional. Many families have shared that their children are reluctant to end the visit, sometimes shedding tears or needing to be gently carried out by a parent. While it can be challenging in the moment, we see it as a reflection of just how welcoming and exciting the environment feels to these young learners.
